Having worked for more years than we cared to remember, we decided it was time to see a bit more of the world. Our ‘world tour’ wasn’t quite like most people’s; our round the world ticket only had stop-overs in Los Angeles, Auckland, Sydney and Singapore. Los Angeles and Singapore really were very brief stop-overs – we weren’t even planning to leave the airport! Most of our time was spent cycling around New Zealand, with time for a short ‘holiday’ in Australia to do some diving.
